ROSWELL, NM, Oct. 18, 2018 – Despite Democratic Party calls for him to cancel his appearance and apologize, Mick Rich, Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, reaffirmed his appearance at a Steve Bannon film showing and speech at the Hi-Q Venue in Roswell today from 4-7pm.
"Steve Bannon is a global thought leader for economic populism," Rich said. "At tonight's event, he will show his most recent film, "
Trump at War," which explores the radical left's opposition to our duly elected President.
"Mr. Bannon is anti-elitist, as am I," Rich continued. "So it's no surprise that the party of my opponent, Sen. Martin Heinrich, hates Steve Bannon. Martin Heinrich has become a Washington elitist.
"I will be the voice for New Mexico's hard-working taxpayers," Rich said. "It's time for New Mexicans to rise up against the elites and send a hard hat to Washington."
Admission to the event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
