I was just reading that the Texas panhandle will likely be seeing snow. Since the Texas panhandle is due east of here (about 200 miles), we also may be seeing snow.

Sure enough, the National Weather Service is forecasting a turbulent weekend weather-wise for Jamestown, New Mexico:

A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming southwest after midnight.
Sunday
A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 54. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Sunday Night
A chance of rain showers before midnight, then a chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Monday
A chance of snow showers before noon, then a chance of rain showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 41. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
