Which To Believe?

Sometimes one has to wonder which to believe.

The National Weather Service says that we have a 20% chance of snow showers on Monday night. Whereas, The Weather Channel indicates cloudy conditons with a 10% chance of precipitation.

Which one is to believe? I assumed that The Weather Channel receives their data from the NWS.

Also, The Weather Channel says we have a 10% chance of precipitation today. There's no mention of this with the NWS.

When I first moved to New Mexico, I relied solely on The Weather Channel for the area temperatures so that if it got to 32° or below, I would turn on the ceramic heater (for the fresh water tank) and the holding tank heaters on The Beast. They were pretty accurate. They usually agreed with my outdoor thermometer.

Since I am at 7,000 feet above sea level, and in somewhat a mountainous area, anything weather-wise can happen. And it usually does.
