About an inch of snow has fallen since it started an hour ago.
But that's okay, we can use the water. According to a neighbor, the area roads are slick with powder. Along with the snow, we are getting some winds here, which makes it even colder from the wind chill. It is currently around 21° outside, so it's sticking.
It is a good thing I did my grocery shopping the other day and picked up a couple of gallons of drinking water for the coffee-maker yesterday. The water here is hard and it would ruin the coffee-maker in a few months from the mineral deposits.
