After listening to the Rush Limbaugh Show yesterday, I decided to take a drive into Six Mile Canyon to get away from all the post-election prattling. There is just so much of it one can take.
While driving in, I saw one camper at the campsite I found a couple of weeks ago.
Six Mile Canyon (if one is new to reading this blog) is in the Cibola National Forest in McKinley County of New Mexico. It is right next to and behind our community of Jamestown. It is an ideal place for Jeep and ATV driving as there's many roads in the forest.
Six Mile Canyon will be closed for the winter on December 15, so it is best to enjoy it now. It will reopen on March 15.
We're supposed to get rain and snow showers over the weekend and through Monday.
