This morning, I took the opportunity to mow Barking Spider Acre (BSA) before any rains hit (we have a 60% chance this afternoon).
Grass has been popping up at BSA, but I was mainly interested in mowing down the brush that has reached 12" in spots.
In the photos below, BSA mowing was done, except for the foreground area where the dirt was too soft and the mower would get stuck (it has happened before) in it. I had a couple of close calls today.
The acre is greener than what the photos depict.
After I was done mowing, I had a beer and peanuts on the deck. While there, I head thunder in the distance. It is expected to rain later today. I figured I'd best get the mowing done.
