Some attendees at last weekend's clampout discussed the weather conditions in the Southwest portion of the country, including Arizona and New Mexico.
According to the today's forecast of the National Weather Service:
Heavy rain from [Hurricane] Rosa will bring flash flood conditions to the Desert Southwest, Great Basin, and Central/Southern Rockies through Wednesday. There is a moderate risk of excessive rain in portions of Arizona today and tomorrow.
Rains are supposed to begin in the Jamestown, New Mexico area later today and go through Wednesday. It is very cloudy outside as I am writing this.
This is good news for me as The Beast got very dusty during the clampout from periodic dust storms that swept through. At least it will get a good bath (provided the rains are hard enough) from all of this.
