Dollar Softens to ¥106.20 In Tokyo

Right now in Japan, the temperatures and humidity are up, so those contemplating a vacation there anytime soon should take note.

They should also take note of the current exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and the Japanese yen in Tokyo.

According to Jiji Press:
Tokyo, Aug. 16 (Jiji Press)--The dollar eased to levels around 106.20 yen in quiet Tokyo trading Friday.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 106.16-20 yen, down slightly from 106.24-25 yen at the same time Thursday.

The next best time to travel to Japan is during the autumn months where temperatures are more comfortable and the humidity levels are down. The exchange rate could improve by then as well.
