After doing laundry and other things yesterday, we had a big thunderstorm come through the area during the afternoon.
It occasionally knocked out the power to the area and I had to re-start the dryer several times. It also made me have re-start my Blu-ray player at points where the player was knocked offline. Luckily, I got The Beast into the GOCO Beast Barn just in time.
But today is a gorgeous day outside. The monsoon storms have kept the area pretty green.
It looks like we may be getting some more thunderstorm activity this afternoon and tomorrow.
According to the National Weather Service:
Today
Isolated showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tonight
Partly cloudy, with a low around 61. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
Tuesday
A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Light south wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tuesday Night
A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
