The following story isn't much of a surprise to me since I was just in Grand Teton National Park only a few days ago and saw that some of the peaks still had some snow.
According to the Jackson Hole News & Guide, some hikers may encounter snow on trails and should be equipped accordingly.
They wrote:
Grand Teton National Park rangers are cautioning visitors who plan to gain elevation in the famous mountain range to be aware of a diversity of trail conditions.
The Teton Crest Trail is primarily snow-free. Areas like Hurricane Pass are passable without special equipment.
However, Paintbrush Divide remains an area of high consequence for those without an ice axe and the proper knowledge of its use. Park officials ask visitors to be safe and know their limits.
