On the way through Mesa Ridge Ranch, the new subdivision next to our community in Jamestown, New Mexico, I noticed that we now have two-way traffic on the Exit 39 bridge.
For months, we've had to put up with construction work on the bridge, on & off ramps and Interstate 40 lanes. With this construction, the bridge was restricted to one lane with signals. The wait times got exceedingly long at times and there had been several accidents on the bridge.

This morning, the barriers on the bridge were removed, as were the signals. Now there's two open lanes on the bridge. We can now go across Interstate 40 to get to the Flying J with no restrictions.
The project is supposed to be completed next month.
