Above, the snow last Monday. Photo by Armand Vaquer. |
The National Weather Service said we'd get about an inch or two of snow overnight and into today and that is what I seeing in the yard.
It is more like an inch of new snow added to what's already on the ground from last weekend.

Snow accumulations will be light with an inch or two favoring west facing slopes of the western and northern high terrain. Difficult driving conditions will be present where any snow showers produce sudden drops in visibility. Winter conditions will shift focus to eastern New Mexico Thursday again with light snow accumulations, except a few inches favoring the southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Sudden drops in visibility from snow showers will again be present producing difficult driving through the I-25 and I-40 corridors of northeastern NM during the day Thursday. Monitor NOAA weather radio, weather.gov/abq or your local media for the latest weather updates. Anyone planning travel across northern and central New Mexico should be prepared to encounter scattered winter weather conditions.
