Possible Thunderstorm Today

Above, a warm day on Saturday. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Today is going to be a little interesting.

Later this morning, I am to help a friend in dropping off his van to have a seat replaced/reupholstered in Gallup. That shouldn't take too long to drop off, but the weather is going to change from the nice, sunny days we had over the weekend.

It might rain with some thunderstorms today and tomorrow. Then the rest of the week will be warmer.

According to the National Weather Service:

Today
A chance of showers and thunderstorms between 9am and 3pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 59. West wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 34. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south after midnight.
Tuesday
Sunny, with a high near 69. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
Tuesday Night
Clear, with a low around 40. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
Wednesday
Sunny, with a high near 75. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night
Clear, with a low around 43.
Thursday
Sunny, with a high near 79.
Thursday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.
Friday
