One can sure tell we're in autumn.
It is funny how abruptly weather patterns change in northwest New Mexico. It all started when the early winter storm came through the Four Corners region a couple of weeks ago. That seemed to open the door for cooler temperatures.
Now, we are seeing highs in the upper 70s (with occasional low 80s), which isn't too drastic a change. The big difference is at night, where the lows get down into the 30s. It won't be a surprise if we see a snowstorm in Jamestown this month.
The evening temperatures have been great for firing up the fire pit outside.
