Today In Six Mile Canyon

Earlier today, I took a jaunt into Six Mile Canyon.

I went over to the campsite that I found the other day, set up chair and relaxed while enjoying the surroundings.

Along the way, there was a group of cattle near the first campsite (which was occupied) from the entrance.

It was pleasant out, about 70°.

From what I was told, the U.S. Forest Service allows a Navajo rancher graze his cattle in the Cibola National Forest.

Since the canyon will be closed for the winter in two months from now, it is best to enjoy it while it is still open.
