Dry Spell To End?

While it has been dry as a bone in Jamestown, New Mexico, my ex-roommate Jessica has been getting snow this week in Des Moines, Iowa.

That sparked me to take a look at this week's forecast of the National Weather Service. It appears that our dry spell will be ending this coming Sunday and Monday (30% chance as of today).

Here's the forecast:

Sunny, with a high near 71. West wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon.

Mostly clear, with a low around 40.
Friday
Sunny, with a high near 69.
Friday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 44.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 67.
Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 44.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 63.
Sunday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 37.
Monday
A 30 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 53.
