Snow Chances Increasing For The Weekend

Above, the weather was clear with 52° temperature but windy yesterday. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

It looks like our chances of having snow this weekend are increasing.

We've had a good respite in snowfall for a week, so we're due for some more. The snow totals are down in the region, so having more snow is welcome. It's a good thing I did some grocery shopping yesterday in Gallup, so I am well stocked up with provisions.

According to the National Weather Service:

 Friday Night

A 10 percent chance of snow showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 24.
Saturday
A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 48.
Saturday Night
A 30 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22.
Sunday
Snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Sunday Night
A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16.
