Winter season is not one that most people associate with visiting a national park in. But many people do and enjoy it. That's one thing I haven't done. The closest I've come to a national park in winter was visiting Grand Canyon National Park in late autumn (November).
msmNOW has an article on the nine of the best national parks to visit during the winter.

And it seems like the rest of the U.S. populace would agree. In 2019, 327.5 million visitors toured the parks, up 9 million visits from the previous year.
