Snow's Coming

Much needed rain and snow is headed our way today. At least that's according to the forecast of the National Weather Service.

The storm is a fast-moving one (at least that's what KOB says).

This has prompted a Winter Storm Watch from 5:00 this evening until 11:00 tomorrow night.

The forecast:

Today
Showers likely between 11am and 5pm, then rain after 5pm. High near 47. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tonight
Rain before 8pm, then snow. Low around 26. Breezy, with a southwest wind 20 to 25 mph decreasing to 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Sunday
Snow. Temperature rising to near 30 by noon, then falling to around 17 during the remainder of the day. South wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Sunday Night
A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
