Under "Red Flag" Wind Warning

Thanks to the gusting winds, I woke up early this morning.

Jamestown, New Mexico, long with the rest of the state, is under a red flag wind warning until 8:00 tonight. The winds started kicking up yesterday and haven't abated. 

It will be cooler than the last two days when temperatures reached the 70s.

According to the National Weather Service, the forecast is as follows:

 Today

Sunny, with a high near 64. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
Tonight
Clear, with a low around 28. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 25 mph decreasing to 5 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
Wednesday
Sunny, with a high near 65. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 33. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light and variable.
