L.A. Got Rare Thunderstorm Today, We're Getting It Tomorrow

Above, L.A. got a rare thunderstorm today. Maybe it was Ghidorah?

It appears that Southern California received a rare thunderstorm this afternoon/evening.

Several friends who live in the L.A. area are ecstatic over the storm. While thunderstorms are rare in L.A., they're more commonplace here in New Mexico.

Maybe some thought King Ghidorah was attacking the city?

As for us, the storm Southern California got is moving into our area tomorrow afternoon/evening, at least that's what the National Weather Service says:

Tonight
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. Southeast wind around 5 mph.
Tuesday
Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 68. South wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tuesday Night
Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday
