Well, it looks like autumn is going to be somewhat short-lived in Jamestown, New Mexico.
According to the National Weather Service, we have a 50% chance of snow showers coming Tuesday. We seem to get our first snows during October, if the past three years are any indication.
The forecast from now to Tuesday:
Today
Partly sunny, with a high near 68. West wind 15 to 20 mph.
Tonight
Isolated showers after 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 37. West wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Sunday
Isolated showers before noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Sunday Night
Clear, with a low around 31. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the evening.
Columbus Day
Sunny, with a high near 63. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon.
Monday Night
A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 36.
Tuesday
A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Some thunder is also possible. Partly sunny, with a high near 42. Breezy.
