It looks like our weeklong respite without snow is coming to an end.
Tonight starts several days of rain and snow showers in the Gallup/Jamestown area. Once they do come, I'll be cooped up indoors for the duration. I'm glad that I at least got out yesterday and today to partake in Gallup restaurants, Jerry's Cafe last night and Harmony (formerly Zen Steak & Sushi) this evening.
According to the National Weather Service, the weather looks like this through Wednesday:
Tonight
A slight chance of rain and snow showers between 11pm and 2am, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Sunday
A chance of snow showers before 8am, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 8am and 2pm, then rain showers likely after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Sunday Night
Rain and snow showers likely, becoming all snow after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 28. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Monday
A chance of snow showers before 11am, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 11am and 2pm, then a chance of rain showers after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Monday Night
A slight chance of rain and snow showers before 8pm, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
