Despite SCOTUS Ruling, Gov. Abbott Kicks Biden's Nuts

In a move that can only be interpreted as a "swift kick to His Fraudulency's nuts", Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says he has constitutional authority to repel invasions of illegal aliens.

The Daily Caller reported:

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott doubled down Wednesday on the state’s “constitutional right to self-defense” days after the Supreme Court ordered the Texas National Guard to remove barbed wire to keep illegal migrants out.

The Supreme Court, in a 5-4 decision Monday, agreed to vacate an injunction that temporarily blocked Border Patrol from cutting wire Texas had placed along the border. Texas authorities appeared to ignore the ruling, with a video circulating on social media showing authorities setting up razor wire for the border in Eagle Pass, Texas.

The case made its way to the high court after the Biden Administration sued.

Abbott doubled down on the state’s response, invoking the Founding Fathers.

“The federal government has broken the compact between the United States and the States. The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting States, including immigration laws on the books right now,” Abbott said in a statement. “President Biden has ignored Texas’s demand that he perform his constitutional duties.”

“James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and the other visionaries who wrote the U.S. Constitution foresaw that States should not be left to the mercy of a lawless president who does nothing to stop external threats like cartels smuggling millions of illegal immigrants across the border,” Abbott continued, citing Article IV Section 4 which says the federal government “shall protect each [State] against invasion” and Article I, Section 10, Clause 3 which says the states have a “sovereign interest in protecting their borders.”

“The failure of the Biden Administration to fulfill the duties imposed by Article IV, § 4 has triggered Article I, § 10, Clause 3, which reserves to this State the right of self-defense. For these reasons, I have already declared an invasion under Article I, § 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself. That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary. The Texas National Guard, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and other Texas personnel are acting on that authority, as well as state law, to secure the Texas border.”

Yup,don't mess with Texas!

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Re-Elected

From the Dallas Morning News:

Texas voters confirmed Tuesday what many political pundits said all along – Greg Abbott would clinch his third term as governor of Texas with ease.

Abbott’s win on Tuesday means Republicans will remain in control of the state’s executive branch for another four years – continuing a streak that took hold when former Texas Gov. George W. Bush beat Ann Richards in 1994.

“This race went according to plan,’’ said Vinnie Minchillo, a Republican political consultant in Plano. “The results of this race were baked in from the first day.”

While the results came as no surprise to most political analysts, they were nonetheless floored by the soaring level of fundraising. The Texas governor’s race was estimated to cost $226 million in total money raised by Abbott and O’Rourke, making it one of the most expensive races in the country, according to OpenSecrets, a Washington D.C.-based nonprofit that tracks U.S. political spending.

Tacos? Jill Biden Criticized Over Latino Americans Remark

His Fraudulency Joe Biden isn't the only member of the Biden family who can't speak without thinking first.

Her Fraudulency Jill Biden (I refuse to call her First Lady as I refuse to refer to her husband as president) made a major gaffe on Monday, for which she apologized.

The Guardian reported:

Jill Biden has apologized for remarks in a speech to the civil rights and advocacy organization UnidosUS in which she likened the diversity of Latino Americans to breakfast tacos.

Speaking in Texas on Monday, the first lady said: “The diversity of this community – as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio, is your strength.”

Amid condemnation of the statement and her mispronunciation of the word “bodegas”, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists said: “We are not tacos. Our heritage as Latinos is shaped by various diasporas, cultures and food traditions. Do not reduce us to stereotypes.”

Biden’s press secretary, Michael LaRosa, responded: “The first lady apologizes that her words conveyed anything but pure admiration and love for the Latino community.”

Republicans, however, were quick to seize on the remarks.

The Texas governor, Greg Abbott, tweeted: “Breakfast tacos? This is why Texas Hispanics are turning away from the Democratic party.”

O'Rourke Flip-Flops Again On Gun Confiscation

Above, Beto O'Rourke last week in Uvalde, Texas.

Chronic campaigner Beto O'Rourke has flipped-flopped again when it comes to guns. He is currently running for governor of Texas.

He is back on the side of confiscating guns.

The Western Journal reported:

If Beto O’Rourke gets elected, Texans may have to hand over their guns.

O’Rourke, a Democrat challenging Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in the November election, endorsed the forcible confiscation of semiautomatic rifles in a Dallas town hall event on Tuesday.

“I don’t think the people who have them right now in civilian use should be able to keep them,” O’Rourke said.

O’Rourke said the policy “may not be politically popular” or “may be too honest.”

This is the second time O’Rourke has flip-flopped on gun confiscation, famously backing a proposal some identified as the most tyrannical gun control policy ever as a contender for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.

O'Rourke made an ass of himself earlier last week by interrupting a press conference in Uvalde, Texas led by Gov. Abbott.

Uvalde Mayor Explodes On Beto O'Rourke: "You're A Sick Son of A Bitch"

Former Congressman Beto O'Rourke disgraced himself by interrupting a press conference held by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

From the National Review:

This afternoon, Beto O’Rourke disgracefully interrupted a press conference about the shooting in Uvalde so that he could shout at Governor Greg Abbott:

"It's on you."

O’Rourke told Abbott, “This is on you.”

When O'Rourke said that, Mayor Don McLaughlin of Uvalde was having none of it.

From The Hill:

McLaughlin, who was sitting in the back row in a blue shirt and khakis, interrupted him and repeated said, “sir, you are out of line.”

He then stated, “I can’t believe you’re a sick son of a bitch who would come to a deal like this to make a political issue.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who was also onstage, told O’Rourke to “sit down” and not “play this stunt.”

Trump At The Border Wall

Above, Donald Trump speaking at the border wall in Texas.

A few minutes ago, former President Donald Trump finished his remarks at the border wall in Texas.

It was a good thing he finished his talk when he did. I was sitting out on the deck watching and it started to rain at about the same time.

He was in good form. He pointed out how secure the U.S.-Mexico border was while he was president and what a humanitarian mess His Fraudulency Joe Biden turned it into.

Before his talk, he spoke at a briefing that was covered by the Houston Chronicle:

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday slammed President Joe Biden and his administration for stopping construction of the border wall and his other immigrations policies, which Trump said is why the border is now seeing a record surge of illegal crossings.

“We did a hell of a job,” Trump said at the briefing at the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Weslaco Regional Office. ““Now we have an open, really dangerous border.”

Trump spoke at a briefing near the Texas border where Gov. Greg Abbott and the Texas Department of Public Safety told him that border security has only gotten worse since he left office. Abbott said the situation has become “amazing and disastrous” on the border.

Biden Allowing Illegals To Enter Texas With Covid-19

Over 100 Illegal Immigrants with Covid Released into US

This is insane. A responsible President, someone who really cared about the country, would say we're not going to have any immigration at all until this Covid subsides. - Bill O'Reilly.

It is obvious that we don't have a "responsible president". The one we have is a senile idiot who is being led by the nose by the left wing of his staff and the Democrat Party.

KHOU 11 reported:

HOUSTON — A day after announcing plans to reopen Texas and remove its statewide mask mandate, Governor Greg Abbott tweeted immigrants with COVID are being released into Texas communities.

“The Biden Administration is recklessly releasing hundreds of illegal immigrants who have COVID into Texas communities. The Biden Admin. must IMMEDIATELY end this callous act that exposes Texans & Americans to COVID,” the governor tweeted Wednesday.

According to Forbes, Brownsville spokesman Felipe Romero said 108 migrants tested positive after being dropped off in his city between Jan. 25 and March 1, a positivity rate of 6.3%. He told Telemundo these migrants were advised to quarantine.

Under President Trump, the southern border was under control. Under Biden, we have a growing crisis. Biden owns this, including any lives that are lost from COVID-19 from these migrants.

Gov. Greg Abbott: "Texas Must Be A Second Amendment Sanctuary State.”

Since the radical left has taken over the White House and the congress, people are fearful that radical laws infringing on Second Amendment rights will be passed.

At least the governor of Texas has a plan to thwart the Left's plan.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported:

Lawmakers are back in Austin for the first legislative session since the mass shootings in El Paso and Midland-Odessa, presenting an opportunity to the address gun laws in a state where more than 3,000 people are killed with a gun each year.

It’s a familiar position for lawmakers, who went into the 2019 session in the wake of mass shootings at a church in Sutherland Springs and a high school in Santa Fe.

Gov. Greg Abbott, for one, is focused on making Texas a “Second Amendment sanctuary state.”

“Politicians from the federal level to the local level have shouted: ‘Heck yes, the government is coming to get your guns,’” Abbott said, referencing Beto O’Rourke’s remarks during his 2020 Democratic bid for president when he said: “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47.”

“We won’t let that happen in Texas,” Abbott said. “Last session, I signed 10 laws to protect gun rights in Texas. This session we need to erect a complete barrier against any government office anywhere from treading on gun rights in Texas. Texas must be a Second Amendment sanctuary state.”

No wonder so many conservative people from liberal states are headed to Texas. All states should have a governor like Greg Abbott.
