Pathetic: Boehner Cries Over Nancy Pelosi

"John Boehner crying as he paid tribute to Nancy Pelosi is the perfect symbol of uniparty pathology." - Monica Crowley, Twitter, 12/14/22.

"Stockholm." - David Limbaugh, Twitter, 12/14/22.

"Former Speaker John Boehner -- the crybaby Speaker, remember him? -- cried Wednesday as he delivered a tribute to outgoing Speaker Pelosi.

This is why America is going down: The party that's supposed to rescue us from our savage oppressors worships our savage oppressors." - Michael J. Hurd, Twitter, 12/14/22.

Sayonara, Lizzie!

GOP voters (except for about 30% of them) decided that they've had enough of Rep. Liz Cheney. She was beaten in the Republican Primary by Trump-backed Harriet Hageman.

This likely won't silence Cheney, but she's now been reduced to wacko gadfly status by her defeat.

Mark Levin posted:
Congratulations, Rep.-elect Hageman!  The better woman won. And no, Liz, you’re not Abraham Lincoln. More like Benedict Arnold. Your speech tonight and the Hollywood film crew you brought with you further underscores that your ambitions and ego are utterly out-of-control.

Tucker Carlson On Red Flag Laws and Guns

Longtime readers of this blog are aware that an ex-girlfriend filed a restraining order against me several years ago. As part of that restraining order application, there is a provision which forced me to surrender my firearms. This is California's red flag law.

She was accusing me of stalking her following our break-up. Never mind that I was imposed no-contact with her and actually was avoiding her. Her case fell apart in a court hearing when I presented evidence that I was actually avoiding her and she and her friends (flying monkeys) were stalking me. I got my guns back at some expense (getting an attorney to defend me).

Now, the Democrats and 10 senate RINO Republicans have come to a framework agreement of a gun control bill that includes red flag provisions.

Yesterday, Tucker Carlson on Fox News discusses why red flag laws are unconstitutional under the Fourth Amendment.

Ronchetti Campaign Smear Violates Reagan's "11th Commandment"

Above, Mark Ronchetti. Ronchetti campaign photo.

Back when Ronald Reagan ran for governor of California, he introduced the "11th Commandment", "Thou shall not speak ill of a fellow Republican."

Well, Mark Ronchetti's campaign manager has gone "scorched earth" against fellow gubernatorial candidate Rebecca Dow with a false ad accusing her or promoting a sexual predator. The ad was so blatantly dirty that it even caused another gubernatorial candidate, Jay Block, to come to her defense.

This violates Reagan's famous "11th Commandment".

According to the PiƱon Post:

Mark Ronchetti, a Republican candidate for governor, recently sent out a mailer and aired a television ad making untrue claims about state Rep. Rebecca Dow (R-Truth or Consequences). The attacks from the Ronchetti campaign make claims regarding a lawsuit involving a sexual predator who assaulted children at a daycare, AppleTree Education Center, which Dow helped found.

In Ronchetti’s television ad and mailer, he claims Dow “promoted” the pedophile and then “bullied” the victim’s family. Despite Dow being cleared of all wrongdoing whatsoever in the case, Ronchetti, whose campaign is being run by scorched earth political consultant Jay McCleskey, appears to be weaponizing the child’s trauma for political gain. McCleskey is known for his “win at all costs” tactics, resulting in even lengthy litigation where he has paid hundreds of thousands to candidates he defamed.

Even fellow Republican candidate, Sandoval County Commissioner Jay Block, who is critical of Dow, spoke out against Ronchetti’s attack that went too far, despite his disagreements with the state representative.

Unless Ronchetti repudiates this ad, I will refuse to back him in the general election should he win the GOP nomination.

Ronald Reagan would repudiate this kind of attack on a fellow Republican.

Democrats Pushing Gun Registry as Precursor to Gun Ban

Registration of firearms with the government will lead to gun confiscation. This has been the crux of the fight against gun control and confiscation. It is no conspiracy theory, it is fact.

John R. Lott Jr. at Real Clear Politics lays it all out in a new commentary posted yesterday.

Here's some snippets:

Federal law explicitly prohibits the creation of a federal firearm registry, but the Biden administration is making one anyway. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) has collected nearly one billion firearm purchase records. The government has now created a searchable digital database containing 866 million of these transactions, including some 54 million made in 2021 alone.

This massive data collection effort encompasses information on all guns sold by licensed gun dealers, and on all legal gun transfers in states with so-called universal background checks. So, federal officials will have the name of everyone who legally obtained a gun. Now, President Biden wants to make universal background checks nationwide so he can have an even more complete registration list.

According to a Rasmussen Reports survey, Democrats support the idea by a 2-1 ratio, while Republicans oppose it by a similar margin. Two-thirds of Republicans believe the policy will lead to gun confiscation, and even 40% of Democrats believe the same. Confiscating legally owned firearms, it seems, is not merely a right-wing conspiracy theory.

Conducting background checks to see if someone can legally buy a gun is different from the government keeping a searchable record of those who own guns. Indeed, federal law has always required that the National Instant Criminal Background Check System erase background check information within 24 hours of its completion.

Why do Democrats keep pushing a policy that costs so much and has no crime-reducing benefits? With so many Democrat voters supporting complete gun bans, many Republicans and Democrats believe that the registry is designed to pave the way for a ban on guns.

This one of many reasons that we must oust every Democrat as we can this election year.

RINOs Meet With Biden

A little big ago, I watched a video of Republican senators who met with His Frauduentcy Joe Biden at the White House this evening on a proposed COVID-19 relief package.

All I could recognize were Susan Collins and Mitt Romney.

I didn't see any conservatives in the group (well, they were wearing masks).

Not impressed.
