2016's Hottest Destinations

Travel agents are revealing what are the hottest destinations (so far) in 2016.

TravelPulse.com has an article on what they're saying about the current mood of the traveling public.

It begins with:

Depending on the season and the special offerings, destinations can be popular one month and flounder the next. When planning vacations, it’s important for both agents and consumers to keep on top of what’s hot and what’s not.

Personally, I would avoid "what's hot" and go somewhere else. For one thing, due to the law of supply & demand, destinations that are hot will jack up prices and, secondly, that will mean attractions will be crowded. I'd much rather go somewhere that isn't crowded and prices are more reasonable. That's another reason why I prefer traveling during the off-season.
