The U.S. dollar is not doing so well against the Japanese yen in Tokyo trading.
Jiji Press reported:
Tokyo, March 18 (Jiji Press)--The dollar was weaker below 111.50 yen in Tokyo trading on Friday, with its topside capped by speculation about a slower-than-expected pace of interest rate hikes in the United States.
At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 111.33-34 yen, down from 111.74-76 yen at the same time Thursday.Will this put a crimp on American tourism to Japan as their dollars aren't buying as much yen as even a month ago?
