If you find things in Japan to be strange, you're not alone. Even Japanophiles will find things quirky and odd. But that's the charm of the place.

They begin it with:
It's no insult to say that Japan is strange. Because to first-time visitors, everything in this amazing land is so different and foreign that there really is no other word for it. It's strange. Japan is endlessly fascinating and amusingly bizarre.
