 Storm System Moving through the Southwest

A storm system will move over the Southwest and Four Corners region bringing rain, isolated thunderstorms, and mountain snow, before moving into the Central U.S. and parts of the East Friday through the weekend with rain, thunderstorms and a narrow streak of heavy snow.

Well, the above sums it up for tomorrow. 

It was a good thing that Larry Lucier and I got some errands done in Gallup today. He had to register his van, banking and take a blood test. I had to mail a package at the post office and pick up my 90-day supply of meds.

Here's the forecast for Thursday through Saturday from the National Weather Service:

Tonight
Increasing clouds, with a low around 31. Calm wind.
Thursday
Snow showers likely before 11am, then rain showers. High near 43. Light southwest wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday Night
Rain and snow showers likely before 11pm, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday
A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 25 mph.
Friday Night
A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 11pm. Patchy blowing snow before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. West wind 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday
A 20 percent chance of snow showers after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 35.
