THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...

.Two storm systems will cross New Mexico today through Friday
night bringing colder temperatures and accumulating snowfall. The
greatest snowfall accumulations will be focused across the higher
terrain, but lower elevations of western and northern New Mexico
could also experience winter weather impacts, especially tonight
through Friday. Those planning recreation or travel through
northern New Mexico from this afternoon through Friday evening
should stay alert to the latest forecast updates. For the latest

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches,
  especially above 7500 feet. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph
  Friday creating some blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...West Central Mountains.

* WHEN...From noon Thursday to 6 PM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
