Storm Was A Dud

Above, snow from last month. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

The storm that came in last night was a bit of a dud. We got some rain (which helps) and minimal snow showers (that melted as soon as they hit the ground).

When I woke up this morning, I was expecting snow on the ground. But it was zip, zero, nada.

It is around 39° outside, but it feels colder from the winds we're undergoing. I had to brave it when I went to the post office in the Flying J.

But, another storm is coming in tomorrow. Maybe we'll get some snow from that.

It is almost 2:00, and while it is cloudy, there are breaks of blue skies.

Here's what the National Weather Service had to say:

This Afternoon
Isolated snow showers before 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 39. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tonight
Partly cloudy, with a low around 23. West wind 5 to 15 mph.
Saturday
Partly sunny, with a high near 40. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
Saturday Night
Snow showers likely before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 12. West wind 10 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
