This afternoon, I went down to the GOCO Beast Barn to putter around The Beast.
I drove down to the barn in the Jeep and found that the soil (from the recent snows) was soft and muddy. The snow is about 97% gone. We've been having temperatures in the 50s yesterday and today. But the ground was still a bit saturated.

I almost got the Jeep stuck in the mud. The rear wheels were spinning and throwing up mud up in the process. That's when I put the Jeep into four-wheel-drive. That did the trick and I got out of the now-forming rut easily.
The mud was caked on the tires, so I did some driving around the community to shake it off. Yeah, I should have used the graveled ramp instead.
Now I have some ruts to contend with. It's a good thing I have four-wheel-drive, otherwise, I'd have been stuck.
