As Ronald Reagan would put it, today marked the 28th anniversary of my 39th birthday.
It was a quiet day, in-between phone calls of birthday greetings. I spent most of the day napping in the afternoon as I didn't get much sleep last night. That, plus the cold temperatures during the day (ranging from the high 30s to the low 40s) kept me indoors.
But I did take a little drive up to Continental Divide, New Mexico after picking up my mail down at the Flying J this morning to browse around Armand Ortega's Indian Market on Historic Route 66.
I did find a porcelain lizard to mount on the outside wall near the front porch. The empty space bothered me after I got the "Country Life" metal sculpture at Southfork Ranch last month. I mounted the lizard there. Since the ladies in the Indian Market know me, they gave me a discount on the lizard.
It is supposed to slightly warmer tomorrow (about 43°).
