Since my heart attack of three years ago, I am somewhat limited on what food I can eat. So I am always on the lookout for recipes and cookbooks on different things to cook.
The latest arrived in today's mail: The Official John Wayne Comfort Classics.
It has about 60 recipes to try out. Some look quite inviting. Since I am a fan of chili, the Western White Chicken Chili sounds good.

The cookbook is also loaded with stills from many of Wayne's movies.
Additionally, there's some helpful guides such as a conversion guide (to convert cups and ounces to liters and grams) and Cast Iron 101 (seasoning and cleaning a cast iron skillet).
Not a bad little book for $5.99 and it can be ordered by going here.
Bon appetit!
