Rains Coming?

Heavy Rainfall for Portions of the Southwest; Accumulating Snow for Southern Rockies; Above Normal Temperatures for the East 

It looks like we may be in for some heavy rains in Lake Havasu today. The above headline was from the National Weather Service this morning.

This is the forecast for Lake Havasu:

Overnight
A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a steady temperature around 61. Light east wind.
Friday
Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 62. East southeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Friday Night
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before midnight, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between midnight and 2am, then a chance of showers after 2am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Steady temperature around 62. North northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Saturday
A chance of showers before 9am, then a slight chance of showers after 11am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 64. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Saturday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 52. Light and variable wind becoming north around 6 mph after midnight.

Hopefully, it won't be raining tomorrow morning when we are supposed to do some skeet shooting. We shall see.
