USA Today: Japan Travel Basics

To date, I have been to Japan eight times since 2001. Each time, I try to go to places I hadn't been to before. Each trip has been enjoyable.

There are those who are contemplating a trip to Japan for the first time. USA Today has posted an article wiht the basics on what one needs to travel to Japan.

Japan is a bucket list destination for many tourists. Although there is a common notion that it is an expensive destination, there are many ways to save if you decide to take the trip to the land of the rising sun.

Here are some basic tools to prepare for your first trip to Japan on your own.

US citizens do not need a visa to enter. However, you must complete an immigration declaration and another for Customs when entering the country. You can do it online to save time when arriving at some of its airports or ports of entry.
