Trump Gains Ground In New Mexico

It looks like former President Donald Trump's rally in Albuquerque last week may have done some good as the polling numbers in New Mexico have narrowed.

The visit could also help Nella Domenici's and Yvette Harrell's campaigns as well.

According to Piñon Post:

With less than a week until Election Day, 45th President Donald Trump is within striking distance of Kamala Harris in New Mexico, according to a new survey by Rasmussen Reports and American Thinker.

While Harris maintains a meager five-point lead in New Mexico with 49% of likely voters compared to Trump’s 44%, the gap is significantly smaller than her predecessor Joe Biden’s double-digit margin in 2020. Trump’s recent visit to New Mexico has reinvigorated his supporters, with many believing he could flip the state for the first time in 20 years.

During Trump’s Albuquerque rally, he addressed key issues resonating with New Mexico voters, including the economy and border security, both of which remain top priorities for New Mexicans. According to the survey, 27% of New Mexico voters identified the economy as their most pressing concern, followed by 18% who cited border security. These issues, where Trump has historically polled strongly, may help him make further inroads in the state.

Trump's Las Vegas Rally

Last night, I went to bed a bit later than usual as I watched the Trump rally from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Nevada is a battleground state and is important as to the outcome of this election.

Friends Mitch & Holly Geriminsky and Dwight & Sandie Kuntz attended the rally at the World Market Center. I was able to watch the rally on Live Now On Fox.  

Trump was scheduled to arrive at 7:00 PM, but was 40 minutes late. I was in text contact with Mitch and Holly and was able to tell them when Trump's plane landed.

Many speakers spoke before Trump's arrival, including former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard to recounted being put on a terror watch list by the FBI after an appearance on the Laura Ingraham Show. She said a FBI whistleblower exposed this and he ended up getting fired and doxxed. The Biden-Harris Administration are using the FBI as their personal Gestapo secret police against political opponents. This will only get worse if Harris wins in November. 

Speaking of tyranny, Gabbard said last night that this is an election of "freedom versus tyranny."

The rally looked like a lot of fun.

By the way, the latest Rasmussen poll has Trump up 6% over Harris.

Rasmussen: Trump Bolstered By Independents

It seems that the all-important independent voters are moving into former President Donald Trump's direction.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump leads Democrat Kamala Harris by 3 points in a national head-to-head battle, bolstered by a bump from independent voters, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports poll released Thursday. 

The endorsement of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. could possibly send even more independents in Trump's direction. That remains to be seen until new polls are taken following Kennedy's endorsement to see how this plays out.   

Flip-Flopping Harris Still Lags Behind Trump

Polls vary, some by very much. One of the more trustworthy presidential polls is by Rasmussen.

Ammoland has posted the latest Rasmussen presidential poll that shows Kamala Harris lagging behind former President Donald Trump.

They wrote:

A new Rasmussen survey released Thursday shows Vice President Kamala Harris still lagging behind former President Donald Trump, despite her efforts to moderate her previous positions on a variety of issues, including a shift away from the proposed “mandatory buyback” of semiautomatic rifles.

According to Rasmussen, a recent national telephone and online survey of likely U.S. voters revealed Trump is ahead of Harris 49-44 percent, with 3 percent saying the would vote for someone else and 2 percent saying they are undecided. 

Other polls also posted in the article show some wide disparities between them.

Rasmussen: Biden Seen Unfit To Be President By 50% of Americans

The following is no surprise to me.

I felt Joe Biden to be unfit to be president even before the 2020 campaign even started. 

The Rasmussen Poll finds that half of Americans sees Biden to be unfit for the office.

The Jewish Voice reported:

Half of America doubts President Joe Biden is “physically or mentally” fit for the job, according to the latest poll by Rasmussen Reports.

It is an alarming finding after reports of President Biden failing to remember the name of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, calling him “the guy that runs that outfit over there,” the New York Post reported Monday.

The 2-question survey asked:

“How concerned are you that President Biden has not held a press conference?”

“How confident are you that Joe Biden is physically and mentally up to the job of being President of the United States?”

The two might be related, and the responses were, too — as 50% of likely voters lacked confidence in President Biden’s fitness for office, while 52% of likely voters were concerned he has yet to hold a press conference, including 32% who are “very concerned.”

Biden is the perfect example of why stupid people should not be allowed to vote.

President's Approval Rises To 50%

If the Democrats thought that President Trump was in trouble after he agreed to end the #PelosiShutdown, those thoughts were swept away by his boffo State of the Union address Tuesday night.

According to the Dan Bongino Show website:

According to the Rasmussen daily presidential tracking poll, 50 percent of voters approve of President Trump’s job performance, while 49 percent disapprove. 

Rasmussen writes, “The latest figures include 38% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 41% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -3.” 

The State of the Union Address had 46.8 million viewers, which increased from President Trump’s 2018 SOTU ratings. The ratings also beat President Obama’s second SOTU address by 9 percent. 

Instant polls conducted by CBS and CNN directly after the State of the Union address found that the President’s speech was a major hit with viewers. 

CBS News found that a whopping 76 percent of respondents “approved” of what they heard in the president’s speech, and 72 percent approved of the president’s immigration comments.

59% Fear Violence From Trump Haters

This does not bode well for Democrats as we go into the general election season. The actions by unhinged Trump haters will play a big role in the upcoming election.

The violence and harassment of members of the Trump Administration has ordinary people worried.

The Washington Examiner reported:

The division in the United States that has escalated into the organized harassment of presidential aides has six in 10 worried about the violence from anti-Trump advocates and nearly a third fearing it will end in civil war. 

The latest survey from Rasmussen Reports found that 59 percent of all voters “are concerned that those opposed to President Trump’s policies will resort to violence.” 

And, added Rasmussen, 31 percent believe “it’s likely that the United States will experience a second civil war sometime in the next five years.”

If the actions by the radicals of the Democrat Party continue and the Democrats get a big drubbing in November, it could be years before that party makes any kind of recovery.

The American Research Group, Inc. has posted their latest poll of likely voters in Ohio and it shows that former Governor Mitt Romney has taken the lead.

Today's Anemic Economic News

President Obama has been avoiding running on his record.  But who can blame him?

Here's the latest economic news:

Private sector added 133,000 jobs in May, according to ADP, fewer than the 150,000 expected by economists.  (Source: Wall Street Journal)

And, the Rasmussen Poll shows that 59% say U.S. currently in a recession.  Forward, indeed.

UPDATE (6/1/12):  U.S. employers created 69,000 jobs in May, the fewest in a year. The unemployment rate rose to 8.2 percent from 8.1 percent in April, the first increase in 11 months.

Why Brad Sherman Is In Trouble

According to the Mark Reed for Congress campaign, their last poll showed Reed at two points behind incumbent Brad Sherman. This is within the margin of error. New poll results are expected Friday.

In a supposed "safe" Democrat district, Sherman is in trouble if he can't out-poll a political unknown.

There are reasons for this. The Reed campaign issued this statement today:

BRAD SHERMAN KNOWS WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU???

It seems Brad Sherman doesn't really care what you, the electorate, thinks. After all, Sherman turned his back on 72% of the people in the 27th District who did not want Obamacare. He also voted for Tarp, the failed Stimulus bill, Cap & Trade, the Financial Regulation bill, all against the will of the majority of the American people.

Apparently, Mr. Sherman feels he knows what is better for you than you do. Sherman must have been the lone Congressman to have the read 2,700 plus pages of the healthcare legislation in the short time before it was pushed through Congress.

Obamacare was conceived behind closed doors, without the transparency that Obama had promised. But that didn't bother Sherman, who further violated the people's trust by voting for something he had not fully read or understood. He listened to Pelosi who said, "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it."

Who would vote on a bill before knowing what is in it? Brad Sherman did.

Mark Reed's pledge to you is that he will not vote on a bill that he has not read and understood. He also pledges to do the will of the people and not allow his office to turn into a rubber stamp the way Sherman has.

The power belongs to "We, the people." Mark Reed views that as a sacred trust. He will take the rubber stamp out of Brad Sherman's hands and return the power where it belongs....to the people of the 27th District.

A new Rasmussen poll shows the following:

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that most Likely Voters think their representative in Congress does not deserve reelection if he or she voted for the national health care law, the auto bailouts or the $787-billion economic stimulus plan.

Brad Sherman is in trouble because he voted for the Obamacare law, the auto bailouts and the $787-billion economic stimulus plan. That's why he refuses to debate Mark Reed, he would be forced to defend his votes.

It must be tough to defend the indefensible.

Rasmussen: 53% Think We're Headed To Depression

The Rasmussen poll reports that more Americans think the country is headed for a 1930s-type of depression:

Most Americans (53%) now think the United States is at least somewhat likely to enter a 1930’s-like depression within the next few years.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 39% think this outcome is unlikely.

Nineteen percent (19%) say a Depression is Very Likely while 7% say it is not at all likely.

The latest results are more pessimistic than those found in early January, when 44% said a 1930’s-like depression was likely in the next few years, and 46% disagreed.
