As we are only a month away from the summer vacation season, Condé Nast Traveler took a look at America's most popular national parks.
The most popular national park (you'll have to read the photo essay to see which one it is) had over 11 million visitors in 2018.

Looks like 2018 wasn't too shabby for the National Park Service. America's park system welcomed more than 318 million visitors last year—the third-highest tally since 1904 (the top two years were 2016 and 2017). They trekked to all 418 sites across the continental United States, plus Caribbean and Pacific territories, including national recreation areas, monuments, memorials, and reserves. But it's the 61 iconic national parks that grabbed our attention…probably because we're simply obsessed with national parks. The NPS's official top 10 list this year looks pretty familiar to years past, most notably because the top two spots have remained the same since 1990. Check out the entire list below, and start planning those road trips ASAP.
