This has been a very relaxing Memorial Day.
Our "coffee group" met this morning down at Denny's in the Flying J. It seemed like it would be a calm day, weather-wise. That didn't last.
The winds kicked up.
While the temperature is around 60°, it is windy out with 40 mph gusts. I had to lower the flagpole to around seven feet as the winds were constantly buffeting it.
Tonight will be on the cold side, but not as cold as Williams, Arizona and Grand Canyon National Park. Both are seeing scattered rain and snow today.
I was hoping to use the fire pit tonight, but the winds preclude that.
We have a Wind Advisory until 8:00 PM tonight:
