The Rains Continue

Well, at least it isn't snowing here. However, the mountains in and around Taos, New Mexico is seeing some snowfall and more is on the way.

We're getting more rain in the northwestern section of the state. Either this is a second storm system or lingering cells of the first one. Another one is expected to hit the area on Monday. The television news says Saturday will be the wettest day in New Mexico.

The good thing is, with the rain, I don't have to water the yard. It's saving me from a larger water bill.

I went into Gallup this morning to do some shopping at Walmart. I figured it would be the best time to go before it started raining again. Among other things, I picked up a couple of boxes of .30-30 Winchester cartridges.

So far, there hasn't been many thundershowers. I am always up for a good light show.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 50. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
