I have been to Camping World many times. Most often, it is to purchase some supplies while using my Good Sam discount. Once I had to have repairs done to a roof vent and had a hassle over whether or not the parts actually arrived. I decided that I would not go there again for repairs, even though they are an authorized Winnebago repair shop.
Some people have purchased their RV at Camping World. This brings me to the purpose of this post.
RV Travel has posted a video on the tactics of Camping World salesmen. People who are in the market for buying a RV should watch the video and possibly save themselves some grief and money.
RV Travel begins with:
If you think Camping World is just another RV dealer, one where you can get a great deal, then think again. While you may get a good price, it may be far from a good deal for you after all is said and done.
Here, in part one of a two-part series on the RV Show USA, an ex-salesman reveals the tactics salesmen use to get as deeply into your pocketbook as possible.
Watch part one of the two-part series: We’ll have part two next week.
As the old saying goes, "Buyer Beware!
