Rain Hath Arrived

The spray of rain on my bedroom windows woke me up early. So it's started.

Two storm systems will be dumping rain and snow (in higher elevation through Friday. The second system will be arriving tomorrow.

Anticipating this, I did some Jeep driving in Six Mile Canyon of the Cibola National Forest yesterday.

Looks like I get to relax indoors for the next few days.

According to the National Weather Service:

Overnight
Showers. Low around 39. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Wednesday
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 11am, then scattered showers and thunderstorms between 11am and 2pm, then isolated showers after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday Night
Rain showers before 2am, then rain and snow showers. Low around 32. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday
A chance of rain and snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 41. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Thursday Night
A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
Friday
A 20 percent chance of snow showers before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40.
