It appears that we may be seeing some more snow and snow showers during Thanksgiving week.
The first chance is tomorrow night and then a little respite on Tuesday. Then, they're chances will be increasing Thanksgiving Day.
Hopefully, they'll hold off on Wednesday as I have to go into Gallup to pick up some dessert for Thanksgiving Day dinner at Nandoh's.
According to the National Weather Service, Thanksgiving week looks like this:
Today
Sunny, with a high near 50. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 26. Southwest wind around 5 mph.
Monday
Sunny, with a high near 51. Breezy, with a southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon.
Monday Night
A slight chance of rain and snow showers before 11pm, then a slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 19. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tuesday
Sunny, with a high near 29. West wind 15 to 20 mph.
Tuesday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 18.
Wednesday
A 10 percent chance of snow showers after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 41.
Wednesday Night
A 30 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.
Thanksgiving Day
A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Thursday Night
Snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 26. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Friday
Snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 33. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Friday Night
A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16.
