Snow For Four Corners

A storm is moving into our area and is expected to bring "heavy snowfall".

The National Weather Service posted:
Snow For The Four Corners; Severe Storms/Heavy Rain Expected In The Southern Plains; Heavy Rain For Ohio Valley 
A storm system, that impacted California and the Great Basin the last few days, will move into the Four Corners region and produce widespread heavy snowfall for the favored terrain.
It appears that our mild weather we had over the weekend is ending.

The National Weather Service forecast for Jamestown, New Mexico:

 Today
A slight chance of rain and snow showers before noon, then scattered rain showers. Some thunder is also possible. Mostly sunny, with a high near 53. Breezy, with a south wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Tonight
Rain and snow showers, becoming all snow after midnight. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 29. South wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Thursday
A 40 percent chance of snow showers before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
