Rainy Day

Above, the rains arrived last night. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Just as forecast, rains have returned to Jamestown, New Mexico and local environs.

I'm not complaining, we can use the water to help replenish the aquifer.

It will likely end tonight with sunny skies later tomorrow.

From the National Weather Service:

Today
Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
Saturday
Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 51. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
