Lull Before The Storm?

Today has been too cold and cloudy for any Jeep driving. It is now about 51° outside and dark clouds are in the area. Supposedly, we're to have rain start around 6:00 this evening. We'll see.

Since the day has been on the dreary side, along with only getting five hours of sleep last night (it had nothing to do with Daylight Savings Time), I ended up taking a three-hour nap on the sofa.

After waking up and downing two cups of coffee, I took a little walk over by Barking Spider Acre. In the distance, I heard gunshots from the community shooting area. It was also a little breezy out.

According to the National Weather Service:
Elsewhere, a strong Pacific storm is forecast to result in heavy rainfall and thunderstorms across southern California and parts of the Southwest by Tuesday.
We're supposed to get rain tonight, have a break on Monday, and then it starts all over again on Tuesday.
