More Rain Today

Above, yesterday in the rain. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

We got some rain yesterday and last night. It was something we need here to help replenish the aquifer we get our drinking water from.

More is expected today, with the possibility of thundershowers. If there were any thunderstorms last night, I didn't hear them. I bought some new bed sheets and slept quite soundly last night.

According to the National Weather Service:

 Today
Scattered showers, then showers and thunderstorms likely after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55. Light and variable wind becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight
Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. West wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
