Route 66 Casino Hotel and RV Park Reopening Saturday!

There's some good news coming from the Albuquerque area.

The Route 66 Casino Hotel posted the following on Facebook:

The Route 66 Casino Hotel family has missed you, and we are happy to announce that we will be opening our doors to all on Saturday, June 27, 2020 starting at 8am! Casino Xpress, which is located adjacent to the Route 66 Casino Hotel and the Route 66 Travel Center, will open at 12 noon. 

Your safety and the safety of our team members has been our top priority. Upon your return, you will notice a number of protocols & guidelines that have been put in place to ensure the health and safety of our guests & team members. 

Here are a few of the most important initiatives you will see: 

• CARE Team Members abundantly available to ensure you feel safe & cared for during your visit. If you need anything during your visit, please find a CARE Team Member in bright yellow. 

• Face masks will be mandatory for all employees and guests. 

• Complimentary personal protective equipment will be available throughout the casino & at all open entrances. 

• All employees and guests will have their temperature tested before admission. Those with a fever of 100.4 or higher will be denied entry. 

• For your safety, 70% of the Route 66 Casino floor has been adjusted, this includes doubling the size of the non-smoking area. These changes were made to promote safe social distancing. 

• A Government issued ID will be required to enter. 

• All guests must be 21+.

I asked them if this also includes the Route 66 RV Park and they replied:

 Hi Armand, yes, the Route 66 RV Resort will open this weekend as well.

I also asked them about Thunder Road Steakhouse & Cantina. They replied:

Hi Armand, yes, the Thunder Road Steakhouse & Cantina will be open beginning June 27th from 4 pm – 12 am.
