The shutdowns, quarantines and lockdowns by zealous governors in states over the coronavirus pandemic has thrown Hollywood studios into chaos.
This has delayed release dates of movies produced during the past two years. But there is some (maybe) glimmer of hope, at least as far as one of the two movies I am interested in seeing.
They are Godzilla vs. Kong and No Time To Die.
According to Comingsoon.net:
After Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment struck a deal to keep Godzilla vs Kong as a day-and-date theatrical and HBO Max release on May 21, they have now moved the release date up! The new Godzilla vs Kong release date is March 26, 2021, where it will have zero competition. No Time to Die was expected to open the following week, but is now reportedly looking to vacate its April 2 release date.
In regards to No Time To Die, according to Maxim.com:
Unless vaccination rates skyrocket, it seems the latest 007 "will likely vacate" that date [April 2] and be moved again.
