The first leg of the Texas trip has started.
Mitch Geriminsky and I made it into Albuquerque and are at one of the KOA Kampgrounds in town. It is cold out and there are some snow showers now.
After getting into the city, we went to Cabela's, but the line of people waiting to get in was too long. So we went a few miles to Calibers, a gun store and shooting range.

From there, we headed to Rudy's Barbecue to get food for the evening. Once we got situated at the KOA, we feasted on pulled pork and chicken. Good stuff!
Our flight to Dallas is tomorrow morning. Hopefully, the winter weather won't cause us any problems.
